JOHN A. WEBER, IV, ESQ.

John A. Weber IV was a co-founder of the Law Firm of Vaughn & Weber, PLLC in 2010, that has since transitioned to Weber & Prakope, PLLC in 2023.

John is a litigation attorney with trial experience, focusing on personal injury litigation, commercial litigation and sports law cases. He has argued appeals in the First and Second Judicial Departments in New York.  Having grown up in Queens, Kings and Nassau Counties, John has a strong understanding of the hard-nosed work ethic necessary to succeed in New York. He graduated from MacArthur High School in Levittown prior to enlisting in the United States Air Force.  John ultimately graduated from Hofstra University and received his J.D. from Touro Law Center.

John has successfully litigated personal injury cases for his clients, obtaining verdicts and settlements for several million dollars. In 2018, he took a jury verdict that ranked as one of the top 50 motor vehicle accident awards in New York State.  His litigation experience has been valuable to his commercial litigation and sports law clients  as well.

As a lifelong baseball fan, statistician and fantasy baseball enthusiast, John became a Certified MLBPA Player Agent and is a licensed Athlete Agent in New York, Indiana, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, and Kansas.  He has negotiated player contracts, vendor contracts, marketing contracts, media contracts and equipment contracts for MLB players and other athletes in the millions of dollars range.  Mr. Weber represents MLB players through Premier Talent Sports & Entertainment, which is known in the industry as “PTSE”.  You can visit their site at www.ptsemgmt.com.
